Notice Regarding Change in Nendoroid and Nendoroid [Basic] Packaging Design

Thank you for your continued support of Good Smile Company products.

This is to inform you about the upcoming change in package design and package size for Nendoroids.

Nendoroid, Nendoroid [Basic]

Affected Products
Nendoroid and Nendoroid [Basic] products listed below and certain Nendoroid and Nendoroid [Basic] products that will be shipped after the listed products.

● Nendoroid Kano Yamanouchi [Basic]
● Nendoroid Kurisu Makise 2.0
● Nendoroid Taiga Aisaka 2.0
● Nendoroid Yoko 2.0
 

Nendoroid and Nendoroid [Basic] products shipped after the above items will gradually adopt the new packaging design.
Please note that not all products will be affected by this change. Thank you for your understanding.

Changes
The new compact packaging will reduce the usage of plastic that was adopted for the original blister packaging design.
 

A portion of the new paper packaging can be used as a parts storage case.
 

Reason for Change
As part of our efforts to reduce plastic waste, we have decided to renew our packaging design.
The change in packaging will reduce our plastic consumption by up to 84% as compared to the original design.

Important Notes
● As the new package design will be adopted gradually, a temporary mix of new and old packaging may occur.
● Please note that we will not be able to respond to inquiries about if an order will be shipped with the old or new packaging.
● Batches of the same product (identical character/identical product number) that are shipped at the same time will not contain different packaging.
● For rereleased products, please note that the same product (identical character/identical product number) may contain a mix of old and new packaging. (1*)
● Please note that due to the size limitation of the new packaging, certain products may require assembly upon delivery depending on the design. (2*)
 

(1*) Example: products from the original run in November 2023 containing the old packaging, while the November 2024 rereleased version contains the new packaging.
(2*) Products such as Nendoroid Yoko 2.0, Hatsune Miku series Nendoroids, etc. where there are joint parts included in the head parts. Such products will require assembly for the head and hair parts. To prevent the shrinkage of the joints, a spare joint (for head parts) will be added.
 

Good Smile Company aims to continue to renew the Nendoroid series to make it more user-friendly for all. Additionally, through environmentally conscious product development, we are committed to contributing to the realization of a sustainable society.

Plans to renew the support arm, base and joint designs for Nendoroid series products are also in the works.
