Thank you for your continued support of Good Smile Company products.

This is to inform you about a defect that was discovered to affect certain units of THE GATTAI Fighbird, which was shipped on 13th February 2025. The defect is caused by a combination of factors, including assembly conditions and handling during mass production. This is not a defect that affects all units.

We apologize for the delay in identifying the cause of the problem and thank you for your patience on the matter.

The details of the defect are as follows.

Location of Defect
Fighbird's forearm parts (*circled in red)

Defect
  • Broken or missing forearm parts
  • Fewer clicks on the forearm parts than the original 8 clicks (*Image below is of a product without defect.)

Support Provided
Replacement parts will be provided for units affected by the defect.

As some time will be required to fully investigate the details and causes of the issue, support for replacement parts is scheduled to only begin in late May 2025. (Please note that depending on progress of the investigation, the abovementioned schedule may be altered.) We appreciate your patience on the matter as we investigate this issue.

Once preparations for replacement parts have concluded, we will issue a notice regarding this issue.

For Customers Who are Currently Unaffected
Support will be provided for units that show signs of the abovementioned defects (such as damage of the forearm parts or clicks less than 8 clicks) even if some time has passed after shipping, while replacement part stocks last. Please keep receipts pertaining to this product in case support for the product is required.

Regarding Dissembled Products
We have received many inquiries about the product in a disassembled state. As a general rule, only products with symptoms such as forearm part damage or detachment and/or click numbers less than 8 are considered to have a defect.
The product was not designed to be dissembled, therefore, we may not be able to respond to inquiries or provide answers regarding parts after disassembly. Thank you for your understanding.

In addition, disassembling and reassembling the product may result in a condition different from the original state of the product. As a result, the reassembled state of the product may affect how the defect presents itself in the specific unit, which might lead to us not being able to verify that the defect is present.
As such, we request that customers refrain from disassembling the product.

If you have any questions or inquiries you would like to make regarding the defect mentioned above, please contact our customer support team via the "Defects, missing parts or other product-related inquiry" form. Please fill in the required details and attach a photo of the defect.
